Oh what a feeling arriving at a deserted surf spot.
Well worth the early start to catch the swell at daybreak. In the '60s the only question was which way the wind was blowing and where to go for the swell, as every Australian beach, north and south, was exclusively the domain of a few passionate surfers. The FJ Holden, a classic Aussie icon of the '60s, is still a treasured favourite today.
