Located on the south side of Sydney and surrounded by sand dunes, Wanda Beach is a very popular wave-riding destination.
This painting of Wanda Beach was commissioned by Graham (Wal) Hubbard, who spent many memorable days in the 1960s surfing the waves at Wanda with his mates.
As members of the Wanda Surf Life Saving Club, they came together in 1967 to form the Wanda Beach Boardriders Club.
