In surfing terms I'm a "goofy footer". And for those of you who are not sure what that is, it means I put my right foot forward when I'm riding a surfboard, whereas most surfers put their left foot forward. You have no idea the number of times my mates and I have piled into an old surf wagon and headed off in search of the perfect wave - only to find a surf spot that suits a left footer or ... a right footer ... but rarely one that suits both. Here then is the ideal surfing location, lefts and rights, what a surfer's paradise!
